The Vanity Fair Photos
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz gets the historic opportunity of photographing Obama’s cabinet, and she comes up with pictures like this?
What is that?? These are supposed to be Vanity Fair quality images. Even if its candid, there’s a certain degree of art involved. You know what, scratch the art part. At least get the framing right. There’s no balance. Feet are cut off. The lighting is uninteresting. It’s just so… blah.
Then there’s the cover itself.
He looks like a bobble-head.
To be honest, I’m not an Obama fan, but I am an Annie fan. These photos suck, and I am disappointed.

I’m doing a huge photo shoot on Monday. It’s going to be 3+ models, complete with hair, makeup, and wardrobe. It’s the grand finale to my portfolio build. After that, it’s all portfolio build from there.
I will also try to incorporate a business next week. It’s going to an interesting week for me.

Okay this is very annoying. I finally got my D300, and I cannot open the RAW files!
- Adobe CS2 does not support newer RAW files.
- The Automator script to convert RAW files to DNG files does not work. I’ve Googled the entire world and no answer.
- I downloaded trial software, and I can’t even use that because my computer needs a minimum of 1G RAM - and I only have 0.5 or half a gig.
Okay, this is seriously annoying. I did not buy a D300 so I can shoot .jpg’s.
So with a new camera I need
- new memory cards
- a new computer with faster memory
- new software that opens the **** files!
